Research Assistant


We are looking for a research assistant to work on a research project (Experimental and Theoretical Investigation of Hospital Operating Room Air Distribution).


Qualifications

- A bachelor degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering with or without working
experience.

- Computer literate with excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

- Required CGPA > 3.20

- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply


Job Scope

- Working on enhancing the modeling of hospital operating room air distribution and
infectious particle transport. This research will be carried out in three stages for a
period of two years starting from JUNE 2008:-
a) Field measurement on parameters such as the velocity, temperature,
relative humidity, etc. within the operating room.
b) Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Modeling
c) Experimental works to verify and refine the CFD modeling

- The candidate is encouraged to register for M.Eng.Sc. programme in University of
Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.


- Candidate should have the knowledge in measurement technique of engineering
parameters, computer-aided-modeling (CAD) and CFD.
